16:10. ರಾಜನಾದ ಅಹಾಜನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ರಾಜನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸರನನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಮಾಡಲು ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು. ಅಹಾಜನು ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದನು. ರಾಜನಾದ ಅಹಾಜನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಕೆಯ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

16:10. ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೇಸೆರನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಆಗ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ರೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

16:10. When King Ahaz went to meet with King Tiglath-pileser of Assyria in Damascus, he saw the altar there. King Ahaz sent to Uriah the priest a drawing of the altar and a blueprint for its design.
